Job Description

As a Marketing Instructor, you will develop and deliver instructional materials, coach students, and facilitate online learning communities to support student success in a competency‑based environment.

Job Duties
  • Develop instructional materials aligned with learning objectives and course competencies for both self‑service and virtual one‑to‑many events.
  • Provide engaging virtual one‑to‑many events aligned with learning objectives.
  • Participate in faculty learning communities and other developmental opportunities to continually grow knowledge and expertise.
  • Deliver proactive, relevant, and effective one‑to‑one virtual instruction in a specific course or domain.
  • Facilitate student communities to support peer collaboration, effective faculty interaction, and student development.
  • Provide one‑to‑one virtual coaching to help students achieve personal, academic, and career goals.
  • Adapt instructional and coaching practices to common and typical student needs.
  • Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in marketing or related field (Doctorate preferred). Education must be from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Higher Education teaching marketing fundamentals and management, preferably in an online distance‑based model.
  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience in marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor using social‑emotional learning strategies.
  • Experience working with web‑based content delivery platforms such as Web Ex.
  • Ability to break down and disseminate difficult topics for student understanding.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging and interactive live (one‑to‑many) events.
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
