Principal Product Designer

This is a rare opportunity for Design to reimagine our information architecture from the ground up and influence our monetization strategy.

• Define and drive the vision for a new IA and navigation system in our product suites.
• Establish and evolve a unified design system, ensuring consistency across platforms.
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to translate complex data and workflows into intuitive experiences.
• Align with Marketing and Brand teams to ensure a cohesive customer journey and compelling storytelling.
• Craft & Execution
  • Deliver high-quality interaction designs, prototypes, and visual systems for complex SaaS applications.
  • Use advanced prototyping tools (Framer, Origami, Proto Pie, and Figma) to bring design concepts to life.
  • Build occasional sizzle reels to help clients hear your stories.

• 10+ years of product design experience, including significant time in SaaS, B2B, or data‑heavy platforms.
• Expertise in user‑centered design, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Proficiency with prototyping tools such as Framer, Origami, Proto Pie, and strong familiarity with Figma.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills to influence across disciplines and leadership levels.
• A portfolio showcasing elegant, thoughtful solutions to complex product challenges, with examples of prototypes and end‑to‑end design thinking.
• Experience with video and motion design tools such as Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro to support storytelling and promotional design.

The annual base salary range for this position is $150k - $180k. The actual salary will vary depending on the applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market data for their location. This position is also eligible for an additional annual bonus compensation through one of Helium 10’s highly attractive incentive plans; full details will be provided during the recruitment process.
