Overview
Seattle Yacht Club is seeking a Member Services & Front Desk Manager to lead front desk operations and deliver an exceptional member experience. This role manages a small, close-knit front desk team (approximately four employees) and serves as a key ambassador of the Club’s service standards, professionalism, and culture. This position is ideal for a hospitality-focused leader who thrives in a member-facing environment and values consistency, discretion, and relationship-building.
ResponsibilitiesMember Services & Front Desk Leadership
- Supervise, train, schedule, and support a front desk/member services team of approximately four employees
- Oversee daily front desk operations including member and guest interactions, phone/email communications, and service coordination, such as reservations
- Ensure consistent application of service standards, procedures, and professionalism
- Member Experience & Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for member questions, service needs, and issue resolution
- Provide thoughtful, timely follow-up to ensure positive member experiences
- Support club events and activities from a member services perspective
- Work two front desk shifts weekly
- Support onboarding, coaching, and performance feedback for front desk staff
- Maintain staffing coverage and scheduling aligned with operational needs
- Collaborate with leadership and internal departments to support overall club operations
As club operations evolve, this role may expand to include oversight of the Ship Store at a later date, subject to leadership review and mutual agreement
Qualifications Required- 3–5 years of experience in hospitality, member services, front desk, or customer-facing management
- Previous experience supervising or leading a small team
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a private club, marina, hotel, or luxury service environment
- Familiarity with POS systems or retail operations (not required at hire)
- On-site role in a professional, member-facing environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Regular schedule Tuesday through Saturday with flexibility to adjust schedule for critical events and peak activity periods

Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
