We are partnering with our automotive client to recruit a Social Media Content Creator to join their team on a four-month, temporary basis to support content creation for the World Cup and events around it in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for curating primarily short-form, vertical video content for use across the brand’s social media channels and campaigns, primarily focused on Tik Tok and Instagram Reels.
The majority of this role will be focused full-cycle content creation, and you will be attending events in and around the Seattle Metro Area to find and identify content opportunities, interview attendees, conduct on and off-camera interviews and more, and will also be responsible for attending pre-planned, branded shoots. You will be responsible for editing and optimizing this footage for social channels, using Cap Cut and Canva primarily.
You will own a content calendar for these events and projects, spending most of your time planning, editing and optimizing content, while also posting and handling community management and moderation on the company’s social pages. If you are skilled in paid social ads, that is a huge plus! This is a great opportunity for a soccer fan and social media expert, but the soccer knowledge is a plus.
A portfolio of social media video content is required for consideration. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are another huge plus.
This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to blend personal passions with professional skills! This is a full-time, 40 hour per week contract role set for 4+ months – candidates who are interested should be comfortable with occasional overtime and evening and weekend hours, while also working closely with teams in Central Standard Time, with some early meetings.
While all of the filming for this role will be done in and around Seattle, WA, candidates within a few hours driving distance (Spokane, Portland, etc.) who are comfortable commuting to the area are encouraged to apply. Pay ranges from $43 to $48 an hour based on relevant experience and portfolio. As an LHH contractor, you will be eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits, 401(K) and accruing sick time at your state rate.
This role is four months to start, but could extend to cover other events!
- Serve as a social video content expert to supplement this team to cover World Cup events in Seattle, owning an event and content calendar and overseeing full-cycle content creation work for these campaigns and videos
- Curate vertical, primarily short-form videos for 10+ events during the contract period, managing video recording, interviewing, on-camera work and day-of production at fan events and scheduled brand shoots
- Edit and optimize video content for relevant platforms and audiences using Cap Cut and Canva;
Post natively to relevant platforms, ensuring accuracy and alignment - Serve in an operational capacity to support the team, managing the content calendar for Seattle events and posts, overseeing community management and moderation efforts, running paid campaigns, as needed
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leaders and clients across US time zones
- 3+ years of social media content creation, moderation and production experience, ideally working in sports, automotive or peripheral spaces
- Cap Cut and Canva expertise;
Deep understanding of Instagram Reels and Tik Tok - In-depth experience working across brand social media channels with a consumer audience, primarily on Tik Tok and Instagram Reels;
This role requires experience working across social media community engagement, moderation, posting and paid campaigns - Portfolio or reel of social media videos and campaigns
- Comfort working with the public to identify interviewees, serve in an on-camera capacity as needed, and hunt down stories and opportunities at these events
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish, preferred
