Overview

Associate Photographer - Seattle, WA. CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP) is a leading global provider of commercial and residential real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces. This role supports media collection for  and , creating virtual tours, floor plans, and photography for residential properties.

Technicians work within a core territory to service clients of  and , with appointments scheduled for defined dates and times to scan homes and apartments using Matterport Pro3 cameras and other equipment. The Associate Photographer also handles residential photography for marketing purposes and collaborates with clients, sales, logistics, and management. Photographers are managed remotely by a Photography Manager in local markets.

Responsibilities
  • Support marketing efforts on  and  by capturing high-quality 3-D virtual tours and footprints.
  • Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments, using photography techniques to showcase spaces effectively.
  • Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
  • Professionally communicate with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to evaluate priorities, initiatives, and tasks.
  • Navigate one-mile square grids when not photographing residential homes to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage.
  • Identify new inventory, missing availability, and commercial properties to be photographed.
  • Abide by CoStar safety standards for vehicle and equipment safeguarding.
  • Represent CoStar professionally at all times.
  • Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Must lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements for typing on a tablet or laptop and operating camera equipment.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying to perform job functions.
  • Ability to work and drive outside during all seasons and weekends on a rotating schedule.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of professional experience. Real Estate Photography experience required.
  • Experience as a professional photographer or recently earned degree in photography.
  • Drone photography experience with FAA Part 107 License/Certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
  • Strong time management and detail orientation; ability to accurately capture and enter data.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; field experience preferred.
  • Current and valid driver’s license; satisfactory Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start.
  • Driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly plus bonus-eligible position with monthly bonuses based on performance metrics.
  • Estimated annual wage: $54,000 – $55,000, depending on skills and experience, plus a generous benefits and bonus plan.
