- Support the creation, rollout, and ongoing oversight of Venture's organization-wide safety program.
- Contribute to developing, implementing, and monitoring site-specific safety plans.
- Work collaboratively with project teams and fellow Safety Team members.
- Conduct weekly jobsite inspections and report any unresolved or recurring safety concerns to the Safety Manager.
- Prepare, maintain, and monitor safety audit reports.
- Participate in pre-construction safety meetings for high-risk subcontractors identified during project kick-off, and track any issues for follow-up during audits.
- Attend weekly sub-foreman meetings for assigned projects, as needed.
- Join project debrief meetings as required, partnering with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Safety Manager to identify project-specific hazards.
- Ensure all incidents are accurately recorded in the ACC system.
- Take part in OSHA inspections and informal hearings as directed, and communicate inspection outcomes to management.
- Issue and maintain records for fall protection equipment as needed.
- Ensure proper PPE selection, maintain inventory, and provide equipment to designated job sites.
- Bachelor's degree in safety related discipline preferred or 0-4 years of experience, preferably in the construction industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, WAC, and other federal, state, and local environmental health and safety laws
- Professional certifications preferred (CHST, STS)
- Completed, or have the ability to complete, OSHA
10/30 training. - Demonstrate specific knowledge of OSHA/WAC Construction rules and regulations.

$70,000 - $85,000 per year
