PCI is seeking an experienced Mechanical Insulation Estimator for its PCI Seattle 552 operations based in Woodinville, WA
. This individual will create comprehensive estimates for bidding prospective mechanical insulation work.

• Perform quantity takeoffs on construction projects
• Maintain positive relationships with area vendors for competitive material and equipment pricing
• Solicit subcontractor pricing for work done outside of our self‑perform group
• Understand market conditions including competitive approach, backlog, level or risk for work and other factors for establishing margin percentages
• Be involved in internal bid reviews with supervisors and project team
• Participate in customer alignment objectives of the branch by creating and maintaining positive customer relations
• Contract administration for secured projects
• Prepare wage and benefit schedules
• Assist in the hand‑off of secured projects to the Operations Team
• Assist in other duties as assigned such as change order management or billings depending on the project(s)

Salary range: $92,000 - $115,000 annual base salary plus eligibility for the non‑guaranteed annualized bonus program.

This position is safety sensitive.

• Must have at least 3-5 years of professional experience estimating construction projects
• Must have experience estimating the mechanical insulation scope of construction subcontracts
• Strong ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work
• Has a strong record of establishing and maintaining successful customer relationships
• Demonstrates strong customer service skills with an ability to foster professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Possesses a high level of attention to detail and cost analysis competency
• Ability to accurately read schedules for sequencing and durations of applicable scopes of work
• Must have proficiency with digital construction takeoff and estimating software, such as On‑Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid
• Proven ability to proactively identify opportunities, think creatively to develop solutions, and drive results in a competitive environment
• Must be able to effectively collaborate within a team

• Multiple years' experience estimating mechanical insulation on non‑residential construction projects is highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management preferred
• OSHA certifications
• Local to the Seattle area preferred
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
