VDC Engineer
As a VDC Engineer you will support and develop Digital Delivery practices leveraged by project teams in the office and the field, as well as support model-based project management, virtual construction workflows, and construction technology deployments. You will provide leadership to the project teams and drive project requirements primarily focused on supporting process self-performance.
Project Controls ManagerAs a Project Controls Manager, you will be responsible for project planning, scheduling planning meetings and progress check-in’s, estimating and monitoring project costs, maintaining and managing the project budgets, and reviewing the quality of work product compared to desired objective. Develop, implement and update the operating policies for team communication and risk mitigation.
Cost EngineerAs a Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the compilation of overall project budgets, utilizing estimate input from a variety of sources. Use Cost, Schedule, WBS, etc., to ensure budgets fully address all scope requirements. Ensure contingency and uncertainty is properly assessed within budgets. Monitor contingency drawdown. Gather key cost data such as exposure, commitment, expenditure, potential changes, approved changes and provide cost coding for all key financial transactions.
Monitor & report project cash-flow. Control commitments against funding allocations.
As a Document Control Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing documents and recording control operations, policies, and procedures for secure management and access of project information. Establish security protocols for the access, storage, backup, maintenance, reproduction, protection, and disposition of all documents. Maintains auditing, monitoring, and change control systems to ensure document integrity, quality, transparency, and version control. Establishes a framework for identifying, collecting, distributing, and filing controlled documents for the project.
This involves maintaining document control procedures and developing control tools, work instructions, and templates.
As a Scheduler, you will report to the Construction Manager. You will be responsible for reviewing the schedules, monthly reports, and Time Impact Analysis (TIAs) submitted by the contractor. You will assess the risk and advise the Port staff. You will also assist the project team by providing scheduling training.
EstimatorAs an Estimator you will report to the Construction Manager. You will be responsible reviewing for accuracy and merit. estimates, takeoffs, and change orders submitted by contractors You provide technical guidance to the management staff in the preparation, revision, and production of cost estimates. You also research equipment and material databases to determine unit costs. The Estimator shall have extensive knowledge of construction means and methods for various delivery construction methods (Bid Build, Construction Manager at Risk, Design Build, Best Value, Job Order Contract, P3, etc.),
costs, engineering, and industry best principles.
As a Construction Manager, you will support the pre-construction, construction, and closeout phases of the project to meet authorized schedules, budgets, and quality of construction. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are done accurately, on-time, billed, within budget and within the scope of the contract. You will ensure staff and contractors follow all safety standards. You will be responsible for tracking cost and schedule status, developing reports and Construction Documents, and utilizing resources to ensure the work is completed in accordance with the Construction Documents.
ConstructionInspector
As a Construction Inspector, you will be reporting to the Construction Manager. You will perform inspection work for projects to ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and contract requirements on construction projects. You will evaluate and resolve field level issues and prepare and maintain construction project documentation.
SchedulerAs a Scheduler, you will be reporting to the Schedule Manager. You will be responsible for creating, overseeing and maintaining different project schedules. You will also prepare schedules during the bidding phase, assist on-going projects, and provide detailed time analysis to the Project Team.
EstimatorAs an Estimator, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of estimates for jobs to be bid on, including preparation, supervision of take-offs, and coordination and/or supervision of other estimators & engineers. The Estimator shall have extensive knowledge of construction means methods (Bid Build, Construction Manager at Risk, Design Build, Best Value, Job Order Contract, etc.), costs, engineering, and industry principles.
