Jovie – Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, WA, USA

• Working with Multiple Families

• As a back-up nanny, you will:
  • Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children
  • No household duties other than common sense cleanup of your activities or meals with the child
  • Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2
  • Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children’s age-appropriate development

• Pay: $20-25 per hour
• Receive paid training and a nanny kit filled with age-appropriate activities and games that you will bring to childcare assignments

• At least 18 years old
• Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, infant experience mandatory
• Reliable transportation
• Your willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area
• You are available 4 or more days for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm

• Work environment will be active, kid-centric and includes cleanup of activities
• Part of each day may be spent outside, weather permitting, and will be active play

• Position involves regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching and pushing
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely
• Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day
• Will need to be able to react quickly to certain situations
• May need to react to emergent situations in a calm, effective and safe manner
