Multiple Positions Available:

  • Develop negotiation strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with strategic suppliers pertaining to Electrical/Control sub-systems for data centers or other mission critical facilities

  • Create and execute strategic sourcing projects that will support the teams’ development of an end-to-end sourcing plan globally. Influence suppliers' manufacturing processes, technology decisions, and policies in ways that are mutually beneficial and sustainable for both organizations by leveraging the growth of Amazon's spend.

  • Negotiate and implement supplier agreements/contracts by working with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers to reach agreement on contract terms and conditions.

  • Analyze and determine cost reduction opportunities by leveraging volumes, optimizing the supplier base and reducing total cost of ownership.
    5. Analyze and understand data to create accurate forecasting.

  • Lead sourcing engagements and competitive bidding (RFI, RFQ, and RFP). 7. Work with our team and business partners for the creation and continuous improvement of supply chain.

  • Track internal metrics for executing projects and sourcing plans.

  • Make optimal trade-offs between schedule, resources, and scope, and apply advanced technical and business knowledge to address major risks, challenges, and obstacles.

  • Help develop long‑term department strategies and significantly influence the cross‑company project development and delivery processes and standards.

  • Domestic and international travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required

    Basic Qualifications

    Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or a related field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

    Must have the following experience:

    1) 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and nontech teams

    2) 2 years of supply chain experience

    3) 2 years of program or project management experience

    4) 2 years of cross‑functional project delivery experience

    5) 2 years of experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

    The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $147,900/year to $200,100/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign‑on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
