Financial Modeling Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a role that bridges finance, technology, and strategic business operations. This position offers the opportunity to leverage advanced financial modeling expertise to drive critical business decisions while collaborating with diverse stakeholders across the organization. You will play a pivotal role in translating complex financial data into actionable insights, developing sophisticated models that support strategic initiatives, and championing process automation to enhance efficiency. This role requires someone who can think both strategically and tactically, balancing immediate analytical needs with long-term system improvements that will benefit the organization for years to come.

• Design, develop, and maintain complex financial models to support business planning, forecasting, and decision-making processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and deliver analytical solutions
• Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights that inform strategic business initiatives and product development
• Partner with product management teams to evaluate financial implications of new features, products, and business opportunities
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and implement technical solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Create and maintain documentation for financial models, methodologies, and automated processes
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders in clear, compelling formats
• Continuously evaluate and enhance existing financial models to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities across the organization
• Develop scalable solutions that can adapt to changing business needs and growth

• Advanced financial modeling and analysis capabilities
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, macros, and VBA
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels
• Product management knowledge and understanding of product lifecycle
• Technical aptitude with experience implementing automation solutions
• Analytical thinking with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts into understandable insights for non-financial audiences
• Problem-solving mindset with focus on continuous improvement
• Strategic thinking balanced with tactical execution capabilities
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or related field
• Proven track record of building and maintaining complex financial models
• Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and managing relationships
• Background in product management or working closely with product teams
• Experience implementing process automation and technical solutions in a business environment
