The ideal candidate will serve as the supply chain subject‑matter expert for Hardlines, owning inventory health, auditing buying and forecasting models, and driving process improvements across a complex international supply chain while navigating challenges including tariff impacts, overstock management, and placement optimization. A key focus will be identifying and executing initiatives to remove cost from the supply chain and reduce cost‑to‑serve for both consumer and B2B customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end supply chain performance for Hardlines Private Brands, including inventory health metrics and Operations Cost-to-Serve targets for both B2C and B2B customers.
  • Partner with Amazon Private Brands Sourcing Team and Origin Supply Chain team to drive operational excellence improvements with Asia-based vendors, optimizing production and delivery lead‑times across international supply chains.
  • Monitor and own KPIs including Out of Stock rate, Total Inbound Lead Time, Purchase Order confirmation rates, and operational excellence metrics, presenting insights and trends to Senior Leadership.
  • Audit buying and forecasting models to ensure accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Business Managers and central APB teams to leverage tools and insights for data‑driven decision making.
  • Identify and deliver improvement opportunities around demand planning, production planning, and inventory flow.
  • Drive adoption of operational excellence best practices including EDI adoption, PO confirmations, efficient receive processes, and inventory placement.
  • Champion cost optimization initiatives and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience for both B2C and B2B channels.
A Day in the Life

You will review performance dashboards to identify inventory health issues and availability risks across Hardlines Private Brands' portfolio, conduct meetings with key stakeholders, conduct deep dives on KPI trends, analyze root causes, audit buying models, present insights, drive process improvement initiatives, and leverage AI-powered tools to proactively monitor inventory risks and automate operational actions.
