Job Description:

** Role Summary
** The Onboarding Operations team supports new client and solutions onboarding implementations, changes to existing portfolio structures and account setup of Russell Investments’ global client base and product lineup.

The Associate Manager, Onboarding Operations leads implementation and a team responsible for managing and coordinating new client onboarding, product launches, changes to strategies, sub-advisors, and structures to portfolios. Additionally, this role is responsible for internal and external account setup across all managed and traded instrument types.

This role manages complex, cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment among operations, sales, product, legal, compliance, and other internal stakeholders. The position requires strong project management skills, effective communication, and the ability to foster collaboration to deliver successful onboarding and implementation outcomes.

Core Responsibilities:

*** Lead and mentor a team of onboarding professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
* Work with the project owner to define project goals, identify requirements, assign resources, create timelines and periodic communication of project status.
* Create project plans/timelines and communicate to key stakeholders. Gather all project information: schedules, data requests, assignments, tasks, and project meetings.
* Lead project meetings through the implementation lifecycle (plan – implement – close), ensure project deadlines and deliverables are met, identify & escalate issues or bottlenecks and coordinate issue resolution efforts.
* Define, measure and communicate various key metrics related to process, programs and products.
* Influence timelines, expectations, and proactively negotiates across departments and functional management.
* Follow team best practices for use of project management tools and techniques
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
* Identify risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
