Position Responsibilities- Leads the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
- Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements
- Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions
- Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues
- Participates in supply chain improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies
- Engages with executive leadership and presents on contractual risks, opportunities, and issues
- Mentors other procurement agents on supplier relationship management, contractual enforcement, supply chain processes and system utilization
- Collaborates cross-functionally to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of our internal and external customer’s requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes
- 3+ years of experience leading contract negotiations for a variety of complex terms and conditions
- Prior experience utilizing strategic decision making to drive business results
- 3+ years of experience preparing and presenting to executives, senior leadership, and external customers
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, supply chain, law, or a related field
- Experience in a self-directed role
