Business Development Manager

Location: Seattle, WA, (In-office preferred)

Experience: Manager. 5–8+ years

Reports to: Sales Leadership / Founder

Role Overview

This role focuses on client conversations, solution delivery, and deal closure
.

You will engage directly with prospective clients, understand their goals, explain our offerings clearly, and guide them toward confident decisions.

This is a consultative, trust-driven sales role
, not a high-volume transactional position.

Key Responsibilities
1. Prospect Engagement & Discovery
  • Conduct high-quality discovery conversations with prospective clients.
  • Understand client goals, concerns, and decision criteria.
  • Assess fit and set clear expectations from the first interaction.
2. Solution Communication
  • Clearly present offerings, timelines, and value propositions.
  • Customize conversations based on client background and needs.
  • Address objections with clarity, data, and empathy.
3. Deal Ownership & Closing
  • Own deals from first call through close.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline visibility.
  • Collaborate with growth and brand teams to improve conversion quality.
4. Market Feedback
  • Share insights from client conversations with leadership.
  • Identify recurring objections, messaging gaps, and opportunities.
  • Contribute to refining offerings and positioning.
