Meta is looking for a highly skilled Trade Leader to manage a team of Trade professionals ensuring global business growth and operational efficiency, focusing on tariff strategy, market entry, and compliance.

• People Leadership:
  Hiring, performance management, nurturing, and growing talent.
• Program Management & Communication:
  Drive initiatives, keep the team on track, deliver at the pace required by the RL Team, and ensure clear, concise communication.
• Tariff Management Strategies:
  Analyze global tariff structures and identify opportunities to reduce duty exposure through sourcing strategies, zone utilization, free trade agreements, duty drawback, and other trade programs.
• HS Classification:
  Manage product review under the Harmonized System, ensure accurate tariff application and compliance; support classification decisions.
• New Market Entry:
  Lead cross‑functional teams assessing and executing entry into new international markets from a trade‑compliance perspective.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  Serve as a subject‑matter expert on strategic trade topics for internal teams and executive leadership; build and maintain relationships with external advisors, government agencies, and industry groups.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Monitor global trade trends and regulatory changes; recommend and implement process improvements to enhance trade compliance and efficiency.

• Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) credential.
• 10+ years of experience in global trade compliance, international logistics, or related roles.
• 7+ years of people leadership in Logistics, Trade, or Compliance.
• Experience in tariff mitigation, HS classification, and new market entry.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
• Experience working cross‑functionally and influencing at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with global trade regulations, FTAs, and customs procedures.
• Experience with trade management systems and data analysis tools.

$167,000/yr to $230,000/yr + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual compensation is determined by skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
