As a Strategic Supply Chain Manager you will own defining and executing a Supply Chain Roadmap for several strategic categories in Kitchen. You will collaborate with a team of Product, Vendor, and Customer Service Managers to drive process improvements for the vendors with a goal of maximizing product availability and operational excellence. In this critical role, you are going to help define Supply Chain to align it with Amazon procurement systems while collaborating with vendors.
Key Responsibilities- Identifying and delivering improvement opportunities around demand and production planning
- Monitoring, analyzing and owning Key Performance Indicators such as:
Out of Stock rate, Total Inbound lead time, confirmation rates, including presenting insights, themes and trends to Leadership. - Analyzing production and delivery lead‑times and operational excellence inputs such as EDI adoption, PO confirmations and fulfillment, efficient receive process and inventory placement.
- Identifying opportunities to improve cost structure and profitability and work with partner teams on execution
- 3+ years of Excel experience
- 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control
- Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
