Come join our Polestar Bellevue team. We are launching the Brand-new Polestar 4.
We are looking to hire a Lead Technician to join our team who is interested in helping train technicians and getting out of the yo-yo hour produced pay plan. Our candidate would have 3 years as a professional automotive technician with electrician certification and the want to lead a growing team.
This position pays $35 -$40 Hourly (depending on qualifications) + Monthly Shop Production Bonus, and other monthly bonuses
. 4-day workweek with No WEEKENDS

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems
- Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills using the latest technology
- Mentor teammates and continually learn new techniques as automotive technology evolves
- Maintain high standards of safety, service, and housekeeping while using protective equipment
Equipment/Machines/Tools Typically Used
:
Hydraulic or electric hoists, hydraulic jacks, engine hoists, jack stands, brake lathes, mechanical or hydraulic presses, drill press, tire servicing equipment, grinders, electric or gas welding equipment, diagnostic equipment, hand and air tools, and measuring tools. Hearing protection as required, face shield, clear goggles, welding goggles, respirators, face masks, and appropriate shoes.
Chemicals
:
Numerous chemicals are used/handled on a frequent basis. Employee will be trained by their supervisor on the safe handling/use of these substances. Employee will follow all safety directives at all times.
Physical Demands
:
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work in various positions and tight spaces.
- Visual acuity for inspections and diagnostics.

Education:
- Electrical Certification
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
- Proven track record in inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing automotive systems
