The technician conducts routine service on vehicles, diagnoses and completes repairs on customer vehicles, and works closely with the Parts Department and Service Advisor.

Responsibilities include:

• Knowledge of automotive systems and ability to explain systems and repairs to others.
• Willingness and ability to maintain current product and technical knowledge.
• Ability to estimate time of service or repair job for scheduling.
• Knowledge of parts requirements and communication via repair orders.
• Knowledge of approved procedures for service and repairs.
• Compliance with quality control and inspection requirements of the Service Department.

• High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience.
• Automotive technical experience and/or technical school program experience required.
• Current valid driver’s license.
• Good reading, writing, and math skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Appropriate technical certifications.
• Ability to stay current by attending training schools and reading shop manuals, technical bulletins, etc.

• Jaguar Land Rover experience and certification.
• ASE certifications or equivalent manufacturer training or other high‑line import experience.
• Degree/training from an automotive technical school.

Apprentice Technicians – Starting at $24/hour based on experience and qualifications.
Main Shop Technicians – Starting at $28/hour flat rate based on experience and qualifications.
