The Office Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the organization. This position requires a proactive individual who is adept at multitasking and possesses strong organizational skills. The Office Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure efficient workflow and enhance customer service; they will also provide administrative support to the two founders of the company.
IndustryKnowledge & Experience
- Experience in multifamily property management (preferred)
- Natural interest in real estate and property management
- Familiarity with brokerage operations and transaction management
- Ability to track eviction statuses, timelines, and critical dates
- Strong file and folder organization (digital and physical)
- Professional email inbox management
- Accurate calendar scheduling and coordination
- Daily mail / package handling and distribution
- Familiarity with legal notice processes and certified mailing
- Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 environments
- Ability to manage software access and user accounts
- Comfort level supporting office technology and systems troubleshooting
- Experience using Indeed for recruiting and hiring support
- Managing new‑hire onboarding processes
- Setting up laptops, cell phones, and software accounts for new hires
- Ensuring both new and existing team members have the tools and resources needed to perform their roles successfully
- Managing Sparq Living and Arise Capital apparel inventory
- Tracking and maintaining office supplies and snacks
- Overseeing laptop and company cell phone inventory for on‑site property staff
- Coordinating equipment assignment, return, and replacements
- Maintaining kitchen areas, light office upkeep (e.g., running dishwasher regularly, keeping shared spaces in good order)
- Proactive support mindset with attention to daily operational needs
- Planning and organizing company events
- Providing executive administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements
- Utilizing Docu Sign for document management and facilitating electronic signatures
