Join Prosegur as a Badging Coordinator supporting a dynamic corporate high‑rise environment. The Badging Coordinator supports Prosegur's physical access operations by managing access credentials for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors at assigned client facilities. This role is responsible for administering the full badging lifecycle, verifying identity and access eligibility, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with established security policies, procedures, and client requirements.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of effective cross‑functional communication.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 0730 - 1530
Key Responsibilities- Access Credential Management:
Issue, activate, modify, and deactivate access badges for employees, contractors, and vendors in accordance with Prosegur and client access control procedures. - Badging Operations:
Administer and maintain an efficient, accurate badging process for new hires, contractors, badge replacements, and terminations. - Identity Verification:
Verify the identity and authorization of individuals requesting access credentials to ensure compliance with company policies and client access requirements. - Access Control Systems:
Utilize access control systems and related software to manage badge records, access permissions, and entry logs. - Data Accuracy:
Maintain and update access control databases to ensure accurate tracking of badge assignments, access levels, and user status. - Compliance:
Ensure all access control activities adhere to Prosegur policies, client standards, industry best practices, and applicable regulatory requirements. - Cross‑Functional Coordination:
Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders, including Human Resources, Facilities, and site leadership, to support timely and accurate badge issuance. - Issue Resolution:
Respond to and resolve badge‑related issues, including lost, damaged, or malfunctioning badges, in a timely and professional manner. - Reporting:
Produce routine reports related to badge issuance, access activity, and compliance metrics for internal and client review. - Training & Support:
Provide guidance to employees, contractors, and visitors on badge usage, access procedures, and site protocols. - Process Improvement:
Proactively identify and recommend opportunities to improve badging workflows, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate's degree or coursework in business administration, information systems, security management, or a related field preferred. - Minimum of two (2) years of experience in access control administration, badging operations, facilities coordination, security support, or a comparable administrative role.
- Experience working in a corporate, campus, or multi‑site environment with controlled access requirements.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and any required pre‑employment screenings.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
(Demonstrated through experience, training, and/or practice)
- Demonstrated experience managing access credentials, s, or similar identity and access management processes.
- Working knowledge of physical access control systems and badging platforms (e.g., Brivo, Service Now, HID, or comparable systems).
- Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to maintain accurate records and databases.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and client stakeholders.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Ability to follow established procedures while exercising sound judgment in access‑related decisions.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
