Part-Time Program Assistant – Access Services
South Seattle College is hiring a Program Assistant in Access Services. The position is part‑time, working 20 hours per week Monday through Thursday, primarily 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All work is conducted on‑site.
Salary Range: $21.09 – $28.08 hourly.
Essential Functions- Proctor student exams while maintaining exam integrity.
- Perform clerical duties such as copying, scanning, faxing and filing.
- Deliver and set up assistive technology and equipment in classrooms or locations on campus.
- Take notes or scribe for students who qualify for services.
- Assist students in locating other campus resources as needed.
- Assist in keeping the office organized.
- Greet visitors, provide program information, and manage intake procedures.
- Track data, including information submitted by students, and distribute letters of accommodation to faculty.
- Assist the Program Support Supervisor and perform related duties as required.
- High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of full‑time clerical experience OR equivalent education/experience.
- Computer skills, including MS Office.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling files and information.
