Position Description

Seattle University is seeking a dynamic Campus Service Coordinator to lead and oversee the daily operations of its campus services, including shuttle service, transit passes, parking, campus cards and mailing services. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, customer service, and business management skills to ensure an exceptional experience that supports the university community, enhances student life, and aligns with institutional values.

Key Responsibilities Team Leadership
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and manage student employees.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth.
  • Close collaboration with team members and leadership at the South Lake Union and First Hill campuses.
Customer Experience
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and responsiveness to campus community needs.
  • Coordinate with university marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns for services.
Operations Coordination

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the campus services on campus, ensuring cleanliness, efficiency, and compliance with university policies and industry standards. Areas of responsibility includes successful coordination of the following services:

Mail
  • Oversee mail room operations and student workers.
  • Maintain inter-campus mail drop-off.
  • Submit and maintain Amazon Hub notifications.
Parking
  • Support parking permit lottery, payment, and delivery.
  • Establish and oversee schedule for parking enforcement.
Campus Card
  • Print campus cards for South Lake Union Campus.
  • Provide information on receiving campus cards for First Hill Campus.
ORCA
  • Distribute student and employee ORCA cards.
  • Maintain ORCA spreadsheet.
Shuttle Service
  • Be an authorized driver in accordance with university policies and also obtain ADA driver qualifications.
  • Schedule and coordinate the Shuttle Service.
  • Recruit, hire and train Student Drivers for the Shuttle.
  • Work with First Hill Campus to ensure drivers are authorized.
  • Maintain accurate records of usage and passenger volume.
  • Coordinate with First Hill Campus for any required van maintenance.
  • Review expenses versus approved budgets at least monthly.

Compliance & Safety - Ensure adherence to health, safety, and university regulations. Maintain accurate records and prepare for periodic inspections or audits.
