Position: Program Assistant (temporary)

Overview

Seattle Colleges District is looking to hire a Program Assistant (temporary) in Workforce. Salary range is $44,040.00 to $57,228.00 per year, depending on experience. This is a temporary full-time position (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, typically 9:00 AM–6:00 PM) with a hybrid schedule (remote and on-site) and an anticipated duration of one year. The position is open until filled, with first review of materials starting October 23, 2025.

Seattle Colleges is a district of three colleges (North Seattle College, Seattle Central College, and South Seattle College) and five training centers, offering a diverse and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide essential administrative support for departmental operations under the supervision of the Senior Executive Director
  • Assist with daily office functions, calendaring and scheduling, tracking expenses, preparing reports, and coordinating events and meetings
  • Maintain calendars for leadership, schedule meetings, appointments, and conference calls
  • Provide logistical support for meetings and events (room reservations, materials, catering, communications)
  • Prepare and track expense reports, purchase requests, and reimbursements in accordance with policy
  • Support general office operations, respond to emails and phone inquiries, and liaise with internal departments
  • Assist with data entry, tracking, and reporting for projects or events
  • Draft and proofread communications, agendas, and meeting minutes; provide backup administrative support as needed
  • Process travel and business-related reimbursements according to procedures
Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
