Accounting Manager

Overview

Join this established and growing industrial company with a family-oriented culture as the Accounting Manager. You will play a critical role in overseeing the full-cycle accounts payable function while supporting the financial close process. Lead a team who is responsible for ensuring invoices, expense reports, and payments are processed accurately and on time, while maintaining strong internal controls and positive vendor relationships.

The position partners closely with accounting and operational teams to support financial efficiency, compliance, and overall business performance.

What You Will Do

• Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoices and expense reports
• Lead, coach, and develop an accounts payable team, fostering a positive and accountable work environment
• Ensure compliance with internal policies through strong controls, including vendor setup and credit applications
• Reconcile monthly sales and B&O tax reports and support tax reporting processes
• Lead and support key initiatives such as system conversions and process improvements

Who You Are

• Accounting degree or commensurate experience
• 5+ years related accounting experience, with a strong foundation in accounts payable and general ledger
• 2+ years supervisory or team leadership experience
• You understand or have helped develop policies and procedures
