Staff Accountant
Woodinville Hybrid
Salary $62,000-$72,800 DOE
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant with expertise in managing the close process, preparing reconciliations, journal entries, and facilitating monthly closings. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Sage Intacct along with a strong background in accounting principles and practices.
Overview of Staff Accountant role:
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring all entries are well-documented.
- Perform regular account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Support the month-end close process, including account analysis and adjustments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with AR processes, including invoicing, payment application, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
Preferred qualifications of the Staff Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Previous experience in senior accounting roles, with a focus on close processes.
- Expertise in Sage Intacct software a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
