Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in processing full cycle payroll for a large workforce, managing accounts payable functions, and performing grant preparation work and reconciliations. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Overview of the Senior Accountant Role:

• Process full cycle payroll for a workforce of 100+ employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Review and reconcile timecards to identify discrepancies and resolve payroll issues in a timely manner.
• Work closely with employees to address payroll-related inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reporting.
• Conduct grant preparation work, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Perform reconciliations of accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Preferred Experience for the Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in accounting, with a focus on payroll and accounts payable.
• Proficiency in payroll processing software and accounting systems (e.g., ADP, Quick Books, SAP).
• Experience with grant accounting and reconciliations.
