Shift supervisor, Restaurant​/Food Service

SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME) – Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services

Location:

CSU Monterey Bay, 100 Campus Center, Bldg 16, Seaside, CA 93955. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule:

Full‑time schedules with varying days and hours, including evenings and weekends. Details provided upon interview.

Pay: $22.00–$24.00 per hour.

Perks:
Complimentary shift meals; $40 toward safety shoes.

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensure that assigned job expectations are completed while maintaining policy and procedure.

• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mention as mentor, develop employees, encourage workers to set goals and pursue advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Previous supervisory experience and food service experience required. Food handler’s license required.
