Job Summary

We are looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support a patient who relies on a G‑tube, trach, and vent. The position is located in Seaside, CA.

Schedule & Pay

Schedule: Tuesday‑Saturday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $30‑$32 per hour (case specific rate)

Qualifications
  • Active, unencumbered California LVN license
  • Current CPR certification with hands‑on component
  • Tuberculin skin test 2‑step, current within last 12 months
  • One year of prior hands‑on nursing experience
  • Reliable transportation
  • Proficiency in clinical assessment, documentation, and compliance with nursing care policies and procedures
  • Continuing education as required by the state
Essential Job Functions
  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders
  • Observe and assess patient condition continuously, reporting changes to supervisor or physician as appropriate
  • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner as care is delivered
  • Participate in, implement, and update nursing care plans
  • Take appropriate nursing actions based on assessment to achieve outcomes
  • Recognize changes in patient needs and intervene to prevent or reduce risk
  • Maintain personal and professional accountability by complying with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies, and the Nurse Practice Act
  • Use infection control measures per OSHA standards
  • Educate patient and family on disease process, self‑care techniques, and prevention strategies
  • Maintain knowledge of nursing competencies through education and skill evaluations
Additional State‑Specific Requirements
  • California – One year of experience working under current nursing license
Preferences
  • Six months of recent experience as a licensed nurse in a clinical care setting
  • Home health experience

  • Work in varied environments, possible exposure to allergens, blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases
