The selected candidate will analyze complex engineering designs and design changes to determine maintenance/repair requirements, procedures, and instructions; support activities that influence product designs and processes to ensure supportability and maintainability; create systems theory descriptions to ensure common understanding of systems and components; and conduct engineering analysis to verify the accuracy of maintenance/repair data. They will also develop and provide technical solutions to customers;

evaluate customers’ maintenance operations; guide the development of procedures and techniques to allow users to maintain and repair products; and author and guide changes in various airplane maintenance documents. This person will be assigned to the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and/or Fault Isolation Manual (FIM).

• Non-recurring and sustaining development, validation, and delivery of technical airplane.
• Maintenance data, Fault Isolation data, and Integrated Planning to maintain the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness and FAA/Foreign Regulatory requirements.
• Analyses complex engineering designs, supplier data, and engine manufacturer design data to determine and develop maintenance, repair, and tooling supportability requirements and methods for configured procedures and instructions.
• Influences product designs and processes to ensure safety, supportability, and maintainability.
• Develops and uses fault isolation procedures and techniques.
• Creates systems theory descriptions to ensure common understanding of systems and components.
• Conducts engineering analysis to verify the accuracy of maintenance/repair data.
• Interfaces with customers to support customer inquiries and develops technical solutions for customers.
• Evaluates customers’ maintenance operations.
• Develops new procedures and techniques to allow users to maintain and repair products.
• Participates in organizational activities that influence the Aerospace Industry.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Seal Beach, CA.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences).
• 3+ years of experience in Aircraft Maintenance and Aircraft Operations.

• Current or prior Airframe and Powerplant License issued by the Federal Aviation Administration.
• Prior military aircraft maintenance practices.
• Level 3: 5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
