Boeing Commercial Airplanes Customer Support is seeking both a 747 and 787 Fleet Chief Office Integration Manager (Level K) to join the Fleet Chief Office, located in Seal Beach, California
.
As a manager, your primary focus will be to integrate cross-functional teams to evaluate program safety, execute service-related problem projects, and manage as well as integrate airplane performance, reliability, and maintainability data and teams to support the Fleet—ultimately creating value for our customers.
Primary Responsibilities:- Manages employees performing activities within multiple (2 or more) Engineering disciplines.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Seal Beach, CA.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years of experience in engineering roles within the aerospace or aviation industry.
- 1+ years of experience in leading or managing engineering team.
- Experience specifically with Boeing 747 or 787 fleet or commercial airplane support programs.
- Familiarity with safety evaluation and service-related problem resolution in aerospace programs.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and technical management of external partners.
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and resource allocation.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in developing and motivating employees.
- Ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team environment.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range:$151,000 - $205,000
