Position Summary

As a Special Instructor for Early Intervention, you will be responsible for providing developmental support and educational services to infants and toddlers and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering direct services tailored to support each child’s developmental goals and the priorities of the family and caregivers.
  • Utilizing play‑based learning strategies to foster engagement and development.
  • Collecting data on progress toward outcomes.
  • Consulting and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team and the child’s family and caregivers.
  • Providing community resources to support the child and family.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher, Early Intervention Specialist, or equivalent credential, depending on current state/program specific requirements.
  • Experience working with infants and toddlers in homes and community settings.
