** Job Summary
** The Bricky/Plasterer is responsible for delivering high-quality bricklaying and plastering works across a variety of construction and refurbishment in repairs and voids projects. This role contributes to the successful completion of building works by ensuring that all tasks are undertaken to specification, within agreed timescales, and in compliance with company standards and health and safety regulations.

** Main Responsibilities*
* * Lay bricks, blocks, and other forms of masonry to construct, repair, or maintain structures.
* Mix, prepare, and apply plaster, render, and finish coats to internal and external surfaces.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications accurately.
* Measure, cut, and shape materials to ensure precision and a high-quality finish.
* Undertake repair, maintenance, and refurbishment works as directed.
* Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery in a safe and effective manner.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, subcontractors, and site management to achieve project objectives.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment always.
* Comply with company policies, site rules, and all relevant health and safety requirements.
* Carry out repairs to floor and wall tiling involving ceramic and thermoplastic tiles.
* To rectify damp problems within properties using the correct systems also treat areas of mould with the correct products.
* The post holder will be expected to be aware of safeguarding vulnerable adults and children and report any concerns via Ongo’s Safeguarding policies and procedures.
* Responsible for Ongo vehicle which will be always kept clean and tidy
* Responsible for proper handling care security of maintenance and plant equipment
* Work on an iPad to ensure all tasks are completed correctly  
** Skills, Competence, Experience Required
*** Relevant trade qualifications in either Brickwork or Plastering
* Experience of property repairs and maintenance work
* Knowledge in the use and maintenance of plant and machinery relevant to the trade
* Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work practices
* Ability to carry out dynamic risk assessments
* Understanding of COSHH regulations
* Customer Care orientated and dedicated to the provision of a high-quality service
* Full Driving Licence
* Basic IT skills
* Work is carried out primarily within voids and repairs properties which may be outdoors and exposed to varying weather conditions.
* The role requires physical stamina and the ability to undertake manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
* Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory and will be provided by the company.
* Working hours may vary depending on project deadlines, with occasional overtime or weekend work required.
* Travel between sites will be necessary.
