This is a full time 40 hr per week role, and you need to be available to work shifts between 7am and 5pm Mon-Fri. You will also work some Saturday shifts (8am to 2pm) on a rotational basis, with time off in lieu.

Job Purpose

An important member of the Dulux Decorator Centre (DDC) store management team, you will support a Manager responsible for the performance of a cluster of DDC stores to increase sales and market share by building effective partnerships with customers as well as developing and engaging the store sales team to meet business targets.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support the Cluster Manager to deliver a culture of engagement
  • Collaborate with the Cluster Manager in the nurturing of a high performing sales team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Help ensure stores have the right culture, processes and controls in place.
  • Collaborate with the Cluster Manager in the ownership of the P&L with an emphasis on delivering sales, while optimising margin, cost efficiency & protecting against stock/cash losses.
  • Ensure we maintain a market leading service experience for our customer.
  • Develop customer contact plans.
  • Collaborate with the Cluster Manager to review performance & review trends.
  • Provide relief driving support as needed, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products within the local area.
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience in supervising a store and reviewing people/business performance.
  • Understanding the importance of nurturing and inspiring colleagues
  • Comfortable using business systems.
  • Commercially astute.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
