Volunteer Opportunity:
Arts and Crafts Session Leader

We are setting up a new arts and crafts group based at a complex needs service in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire. The service is centrally located and easily accessible by public transport.

Voluntary Basis

Location: Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire

Employment type: Part‑time, sessional

Schedule: Flexible days and times. Weekly sessions.

As a volunteer with Creative Support you will plan and deliver inclusive arts and crafts sessions to our service users. You will use a variety of materials including paints, yarn, paper, colouring pens, and clay. You will also maintain a clean and tidy space, and assist in promoting the sessions.

• Set up for the session, moving tables and chairs as necessary.
• Help people learn new crafts.
• Provide refreshments.
• Clear away and tidy the room after each session.
• Promote the sessions to service users.

We offer training for your role, access to a volunteer supervisor, an induction, a monthly volunteer newsletter, and an online volunteer support network group on Zoom.
