Materials Operative
Location:
Scunthorpe DN16
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:30pm (42 hours per week)
Rate: £13.00 per hour + occasional overtime
Contract:
Permanent (after a 12 week probation via agency)
We are looking for a reliable Operative to join the Materials team of a leading local employer.
You’ll start by driving around the private industrial site, collecting raw material samples from various plant areas, and delivering them to the laboratories.
Over time, your development will include being trained to carry out lab analysis and checking materials.
With a full training plan already mapped out, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading local business.
What We're Looking For- Must have a valid UK driving licence
- Reliable, punctual, and prepared to work in a heavy industry environment
- Comfortable with some manual handling
- Consistent work history is valued more than previous industry experience
