Factory Manager, Food Manufacturing - North Lincolnshire

Salary: £55,000

This is a proper hands‑on leadership role, not a sit‑back‑and‑observe position. If you are the kind of Factory Manager who lives on the shop floor, drives standards, and isn’t afraid to challenge people to get better every day, this will suit you down to the ground.

You will take full responsibility for a food manufacturing site, leading production, engineering, and hygiene teams to deliver consistently high standards across safety, quality, and output.

• Leading day‑to‑day factory operations across production, engineering, and hygiene
• Driving performance against KPIs including OEE, waste, downtime, and labour efficiency
• Embedding a strong food safety and quality culture (HACCP, BRC, GMP)
• Managing and developing team – raising the bar on accountability
• Working closely with technical and planning teams to ensure smooth, efficient production
• Identifying and delivering continuous improvement initiatives across the site
• Taking ownership of budgets, staffing, and overall operational performance

• Proven experience as a Factory Manager / Production Manager within food manufacturing
• Strong understanding of food safety standards (BRC, HACCP, GMP)
• A leader who can challenge, influence, and improve performance – not just maintain it
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage costs and efficiencies
• Someone who is visible, proactive, and comfortable making decisions under pressure
