Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Simply Education is delighted to be recruiting a teaching assistant in the Scunthorpe area.
Simply Education is currently working with an SEMH school in Scunthorpe to recruit a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join their team, supporting students in a dynamic and nurturing environment. This will be a full time position and starting as soon as possible.
As a teaching assistant in an SEMH provision, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with classroom activities and educational programs.
- Providing one-on-one support to students to help them achieve their learning goals.
- Managing and supporting challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner.
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a positive learning environment.
