GSL Education are actively recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and nurturing school in Scunthorpe. This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced educators and support pupils in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in and out of the classroom to access learning and achieve academic goals.
• Work closely with the class teacher to prepare learning materials and provide 1:1 or group interventions.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive interactions.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or similar setting.
• A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting young learners.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• A genuine interest in education and child development.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
• Have anupdated CV(covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps).
