SEND Teaching Assistant – PMLD & Complex Needs

Salary: £83–£100 per day, paid weekly via PAYE

We’re working with a specialist school supporting pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex medical and physical needs. They’re looking for a compassionate, resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time.
This is a hands-on role where your support genuinely changes lives. No two days are the same, but every day comes with purpose, progress, and plenty of heart.
What your days will look like
Supporting pupils with complex learning, physical, and medical needs
Assisting with personal care, mobility, and feeding routines
Using specialist equipment and communication tools, with full training provided
Creating a calm, safe, and sensory-rich environment where pupils can thrive
What we’re looking for
A calm, caring, and adaptable approach
Resilience and a willingness to get stuck in and learn new skills
Experience in SEND, care, or relevant lived or personal experience
A big heart and a team-first mindset, kindness really matters here

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
