• Arrange appointments in a booking office and use an electronic scheduling system to book appointments.
• Cover reception duties.
• Display a pleasant and caring approach when dealing with patients.
• Use Information Systems (e.g., Lorenzo & Auditbase) to register patients and ensure accurate data entry.
• Answer telephone queries in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate tasks to new starters as directed.
• Collaborate with other patient administration departments in line with the NHS Plan.
• Attend relevant training courses to ensure effective role delivery and maintain personal development.
• Understand and adhere to confidentiality principles.
• Safeguard the confidentiality of information relating to patients and staff at all times.
