Job Description
TPALS CORP is seeking a Certified Gambling Addiction Counselor (CGAC-I) to provide treatment and support for individuals struggling with problem gambling. This role includes clinical counseling, community outreach, and collaboration with other providers to ensure comprehensive care.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family counseling. Deliver outreach and education to youth, older adults, and the community. Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Respond to crises and follow emergency protocols. Collaborate with internal and external service providers.
Qualifications:
CGAC-I certification (required). At least 1 year of experience in problem gambling services. Knowledge of trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and the Recovery Model. Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
