Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical (Nights)
Location: Scranton, PA
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend & Every Other Holiday

Position Summary:
Human Edge Health is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Scranton, PA. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care on a 30-bed medical-surgical unit with a typical 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio . Floating within the facility may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough patient assessments and document in Cerner EMR

• Administer medications and manage IV insertions

• Conduct EKGs, Foley catheter insertions, and point-of-care testing (e.g., blood glucose)

• Monitor vital signs and assist with rapid sequence intubation (RSI) when required

• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, high-quality care

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania RN License – Required

• 1–2+ years recent Med/Surg experience – Required

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Certifications – Required

• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills

• Flexibility to float within the hospital if needed
