Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Telemetry position requiring a PA or compact RN license and advanced certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Med/Surg/Telemetry unit
- Telemetry patient care with Med/Surg cases
- Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend and every other holiday
- Floating to other units as required
- Responsibilities include direct telemetry patient care, assessment, and shift accountability
- Must demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership during patient care delivery
- Must submit RTO requests for less than one week
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Active PA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1-2 years recent telemetry nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required with no certifications expiring within 30 days of start
- No prior permanent employment at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Does not accept local travelers residing within a 50-mile radius
