The PCU/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Acts and hospital policies. This role involves critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for the safe delivery of care.

• Caring for patients in a telemetry unit with a focus on cardiac monitoring and interpretation.
• Performing IV insertion, lab draws, medication administration, and managing cardiac medications.
• Conducting assessments, documenting vital signs, and providing direction and supervision to assigned personnel.
• Conducting point-of-care testing including blood glucose monitoring.

• 1-2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in telemetry or related fields.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
