Role Overview

eNGINE is seeking a Business Analyst to partner with cross‑functional stakeholders in shaping, delivering, and optimizing software solutions that support both internal operations and customer‑facing platforms. This individual will translate business needs into actionable deliverables, guide solution design from a user perspective, and help ensure successful implementation and adoption.

The role blends process analysis, requirements leadership, and project collaboration, with regular interaction across technology teams, operational units, and executive stakeholders. The environment follows Agile delivery practices, and this analyst will play a key role in driving clarity, alignment, and value realization across initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate existing workflows and systems to uncover efficiency gains, automation opportunities, and experience improvements
  • Partner with stakeholders to shape initiative proposals, including value drivers, cost considerations, and measurable outcomes
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to capture functional and experiential needs
  • Produce structured documentation such as process maps, user journeys, and solution requirements
  • Collaborate with product owners and development teams to refine backlogs and prioritize deliverables
  • Support UI/UX direction by advocating for usability and business practicality during design discussions
  • Coordinate and lead user validation efforts, ensuring delivered functionality aligns with expectations
  • Create knowledge transfer materials and lead enablement sessions for system users
  • Monitor adoption, performance indicators, and feedback post‑launch to guide continuous improvements
  • Act as an ongoing resource for system usage, enhancements, and operational troubleshooting
  • Contribute to team alignment by reinforcing project goals, timelines, and delivery focus
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (MBA welcomed)
  • 3+ years of experience supporting software or application initiatives in a Business Analyst or similar capacity
  • Exposure to Agile delivery environments such as Scrum
  • Background working on digital solutions such as applications, portals, or web platforms
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) designation is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong communicator able to bridge conversations between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, consensus building, and expectation management
  • Proficient in gathering, structuring, and validating business and system requirements
  • Comfortable facilitating meetings, walkthroughs, and working sessions
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational metrics and translate findings into action
  • Organized and detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Understanding of software delivery life cycles, including planning, risk identification, and release coordination
  • Foundational knowledge of system architecture concepts across web, desktop, and data environments
  • Experience supporting transaction‑driven or financially oriented systems is advantageous
