RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday

• 13-week assignment duration

• 1-2+ years of nursing experience required

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

• Patient ratio of 1:6 on a 30-bed unit

• Navy blue scrubs required

• EMR system:
Cerner

• Will follow floating requirements as needed to other units

• Blocked scheduling may be requested

• 48-hour guarantees are NOT available

• Auto offers only - no interviews required

• Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring and interpretation, IV insertion, lab draws, medication administration, managing cardiac medications, foley insertion, vital signs, assessment documentation, and conducting point-of-care testing (blood glucose)

• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment for safe patient care delivery

• Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel

The facility utilizes modern EMR systems and maintains comprehensive cardiac care capabilities.
