Technical Writer

The Digital Training & Enablement team at a leading electric utility company is seeking a Junior Technical Writer to support our team in creating, converting, and maintaining high-quality training documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent written communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, attending meetings, and assisting with the organization and delivery of training materials.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

• Convert documentation from one format to another, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Write, edit, and update technical documentation for application training purposes.
• Attend meetings with stakeholders to gather information and clarify requirements.
• Support the organization and delivery of training collateral, including digital and print materials.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain and improve documentation processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the training group’s objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, or a related field.
• Three (3) years of experience in technical writing preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with documentation tools and formats (such as Word, PDF, HTML, etc.).
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Candidates are requested to submit writing samples that demonstrate their technical writing abilities and attention to detail.
