Senior Java Developer

Dice is the leading career destination for tech experts at every stage of their careers. Our client, Rivago Infotech Inc, is seeking a Senior Java Developer based in Scottsdale, AZ (100% Onsite). The role is a contract position with an implementation partner and end client (details omitted).

Mode of interview: 2 rounds (1 Video, 2 In-person). H1B work authorization is workable. Local candidate preferred; relocation is limited to nearby locations.

8–12+ years in enterprise application development.

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and Spring Framework.
• Work with the Cloudera ecosystem for big data processing and management.
• Implement and manage Apache Kafka for real‑time data streaming and messaging.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on on‑premises EKS clusters.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads.
• Optimize application performance and scalability in distributed environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to applications, data pipelines, and container orchestration.
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across all deployments.

• 8–12 years of experience in enterprise application development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with Cloudera and big data technologies.
• Expertise in Apache Kafka for event‑driven architecture and data streaming.
• Experience with on‑premises EKS or Kubernetes‑based container orchestration.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills in distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Exposure to cloud‑native technologies and hybrid deployments.
• Knowledge of security best practices for containerized environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance tuning for large‑scale systems.
