Software Tester
Make the world's most advanced SDA O&I / GMI even smarter by supporting the SDA team as a PWSA Enterprise Level Engineer. The Ground Management and Integration (GMI) program is part of the PWSA program. It continues the Ground Segment work underway on the Tranche 1 (T1) Operations and Integration (O&I) program.
Responsibilities- As a Software Tester for the SDA GMI program, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our ground operational systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues and ensure our software meets the highest standards.
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field.
- 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
- Solid knowledge in the use and understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories
- Solid knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes, and scripting languages
- Openly proposes ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency, solicits input, and optimizes solutions
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies
- Strong understanding of test case design, test execution, and defect management
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
- Programming and Scripting:
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)
- Dev Ops and Continuous Integration:
- Understanding of CI / CD pipelines and integration of automated tests
- Experience with tools like Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or similar
- Security Testing:
- Knowledge of security testing methodologies and tools
- Familiarity with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment
- Test Management and Automation:
- Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman, SoapUI
- Jenkins, Git Lab CI
- Version Control and
Collaboration:- Git, Jira, Confluence
- Security Testing:
- OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite
- Monitoring and Logging:
- Splunk
